Well, at least he's not trying to get $1200 for it. Asking $900 seems fine, if he just wants to get what he paid out of it. But why say he was the original owner? Dumb.

I can tell from the pics of all the boards in his garage that, yes indeed his quiver is full :(

^^Nice^^. That should be a solid rider though I'm not sure what's flexible about a 1" balsa stick. However, in my humble opinion, that stringer is definitely a virtue.

Here's a Boss 9'4" in goldfish yellow. Looks to be in solid shape, which--for a Boss--means a lot. I've had a couple Bosses and frankly, I'd buy another when I find one 10'0" or so. Even though they have no concave (they're normally flat under the nose), I've had some of the best noserides of my life on them. And don't let the sharky fin turn you away. That wide base holds you on the nose, but the board is still surprisingly easy to turn.

Lance Carson (shaped by Sr. Calvani) 9'6". Rare t-band with outboards, clear volan layup (light patina) with a box. Made 20 years ago but "maybe" only ridden 1x. $800.

10'0" Bruce Jones Noserider (shaped by Bruce, rip). My buddy Graham has one of these and he loves it. He's a great rider and kills it on this stick. Looks damn near new. $600 w/ fin, $550 w/o.

Can't believe I'm seeing this again: my old 10'4" Hunt Customs. A friend from the Bu had Gregg shape this true custom (it wasn't a stock model) but he was used to surfing slightly lighter boards and didn't click with it. I traded him a board+cash for it and it was a daily driver for me for four or five years. The board is all hull (no concave) but not A hull, if you know what I mean. It was in better shape when I reluctantly sold, but here it is again. Tempted to get it back, but just got back to Rio and can't swing it. Ask is 4 bills. Lowball the seller (this guy is the king of the westside flippers) and see what you can get it for....

Good ops on the Hunt - that guy is also the president of the VSCC so I'll probably knock on him about that board at the meet tomorrow. Looks like a fun one for small days at the Cove.

Here's my dream Yater, with all the trimmings (bag, fin, abalone inlay, triple stringer, nose/tail blocks) for $900 up near Camarillo.

KC....I'm not saying that Hunt is a ripoff at all. Honestly, I would like to have it back. Hundreds upon hundreds of great rides on that board. Worked everywhere I took it. Jump on that Yater! Tasty treat.

Here's a new 9'4" Stamps "Bridge" model. This almost went on the CLDOTW as it's only $780 brand new with a DeTemps (very 4A-ish) fin.

I’ve never inquired but how much would something like that from Tim be new. I’ve gotten a few short boards from him and he’s extremely reasonable in my opinion.
