something fishy from Mandala...5'6 jiggawhut!
Sick one Vinny! Stoked for you
Just put this up on the wall in place of the Yater spoon purchased by Lackosense. My 1980's vintage Surfboards Encinitas Egg by John Keyes. It is 6'3" custom with glassed on twin fins and back center box. the glass ons are turbo fins which are slightly curved, in back I used a very small 2.5" trailing fin, kept the board very loose and rode like a more controlled twin fin. The back fin had no screws and could be adjusted while surfing, called FreeStyle, I think. I had several Keyes eggs from 5'8" to 6'8" and generally rode a 5'10" or 6' while living in Costa Rica.
is that your name of did Manny make it a model? - a while ago I saw on Dylanwouldgo's insta a fish nose super chunk and had planned to get one in the works ... that is until a microlite ATQ popped up.
any how let me know how it goes. looks like it will be a quiver killer
This is prob the board I’ve kept the longest it was a custom order back in 2010 when Gene was making these. 7 years old and been thru hell and still looks so clean. Such solid construction if I could all my logs would be built like this. Nothing worse than a destroyed deck of a light glass job after a years use on a board u spent big bucks on!
Hey D, its manny's name for it, says he's been shaping a few of them but hasn't put it up on his website yet, and I'm guessing its the same as Dylans, looks like a fish nose on a superchunk tail, I'll let you know how it goes, once we get some decent waves...cheers, and happy new years!
Just saw these and had no idea where to put them...they are in a board so it counts here kinda.
New Rasta Keels from Futures. So so so sick.
V2 foil and enough sacred geometry even for Me.
