Finally got work and waves to cooperate today. Found waist to stomach peelers on the new sandbars in OC. Traded waves with SG ( no one else out) and both had some long rides for OC. Water was 37 but with the sun out it was not too bad. Two hours of a good time.
Tried the Flo-Thru fin for the first time too. Super smooth turns and really locked the tail in. Not slow, just smooth.

Ahhh! I watched some perfect peelers on the surf cam from my desk and was instantly jealous of the one guy sliding 'em. Glad you scored!! I'm hoping for a decent longboard day Sunday and maybe a dawn patrol on Wednesday. I haven't surfed since before Christmas... I'm drying up over here!

Same here Chilly. Dec 7th was my last time in and that was too long. I am watching Sunday afternoon too.

Thanks for sharing Cheyenne. One hour of surfing the church alone is liking winning the lottery. Lance would be stoked!

Good times last week at SanO. Got a fun surf in with aloha73, matsurfer and apexman (though he couldn’t swing fish tacos at Sancho’s afterwards). Old Man’s was fun fun fun; up to shoulder high and fun peaks rideable all the way inside.

Today was really nice at Old Man's. Having a noon glass-off is pretty rare. Small but no sections and a great vibe in the water. Never wanted it to end.

Thanks for the heads up John. I’d like to go tomorrow, but it’s a pretty big chunk of a drive. If you’re going tomorrow, try me at 310-295-7915
