A few more for ya
The roads were passable for the Buick this morning and winds were light off shore but forecasted to be flat. Got to the beach at 5:30am well before sunrise as I wanted to get on the interstate before the crazy driving commuters. the Roadmaster looked a bit lonely in the parking lot all by itself. Took some photos before suiting up and riding some very cold, very small and very uncrowded 1 foot waves and had a lot of fun. The sand at the oceans edge was frozen solid with ice chunks that looked like rocks, it was cold, 14' by the car thermometer. I was nice and warm in a Patagonia R4 hooded suit, 7mm boots and 5mm gloves
We had a crazy Friday that dumped heavy rain and had temps into 50's melting all the snow...then Sat it went from 55* in a.m. to 20's in afternoon and 16* Sunday a.m....This guy wishes he moved his Beemer sooner.........
Fun little swell we got though for late Sat and Sunday
