Maybe it was Roy Stuart/Stewart brand before he started his popsicle stick craft projects.
$300 still might be too high.
And from Virginia Beach...a "vintage" Hobie. I'm thinking he is $500 high. https://norfolk.craigslist.org/spo/d/richmond-vintage-surfboard/6784921593.html
Comes with vintage basswood stringer.
Nice nose block. Not really a “Vintage” Board. To me vintage would mean a board from the 1960s or the transition era. I have not seen Soros in a number of years. We first met around 1972 when he was working at Sunset Surfboards. Not sure of the years Shrosbree worked for Hobie .Maybe late 1990 or 2000s He was working for Stewart. At some point he revamped his Fresh Pineapple label working up at the old Chinnin Factory in Encinitas. I have not been in touch with Bill in a number of years. I understand he is now retired now.
I like endless summer but come on...
Must be pretty special “waited four years to have it shaped”
Never ridden and for sale after 4 months.
I smell a kook alert!!!
This one made me laugh. The infamous green $8000 log is on 1 DAY SALE for $1500
still worth $6-800. I asked him a long time ago if he made a typo? He adamantly replied "no typo $8000"
Seller not a dude but former Playboy playmate.
