Miguel Winterburn was a long time Santa Cruz shaper who split the scene down there in like the late 60's early 70's. Took a small sailboat he built out of Davenport, CA, and just headed North. He landed in Port Townsend in around the early 70's. Took up wooden boat building which I understand he does to this day. Last saw him surf in and around the 90's and he and his sons were still shaping boards. I owned one in the 60's. Him and Haut were old friends. Boy, someone should send him that Craig's listing. It'd make his day!

Miguel was awarded a lifetime achievement award in boat building...do believe he was the guy who shaped the 'Dick Keating Delight' model for O'Neil...talk about walking your own path..

He is one seller who got off the crack and is now selling perhaps too low for an unused 7'6" Steve Seebold. I think Basenji posted this some time ago when it was listed for a lot of money, I do not remember the crack price, but now at $295 a fair price, especially if you are a Wavecrest fan.
