What's your favorite car key surf lock box ?

    My honda key is 3.75 inch x 1.5 inch x 0.5 inch.

I'm looking at http://www.surflock.com.au/ but it doesn't list the internal compartment size.

    Thanks !

IMG_4278.JPG Make one like this for other mounting. Spray it down with some wd40 every now and then.

Goes right into hitch receiver if you are not using it. It is more of a backup for me but has saved me numerous times. I just keep a blank that opens the doors.

Search Youtube for hacks on any above locks. Shocking and entertaining

My original 'unhackable' solution was a plain metal 'surf key' without the electronic part. But after I lost it, honda dealer tried 4 times and could not reproduce my original surf key that has worn down the door lock just right. The fresh keys do not work with the lock anymore. Hence lockbox :(

Make sure you try it first if you use an electronic car key. Some keys are too thick to fit and have the door close all the way.

This is the one that I have had for over 5 years with no issues, except trying to open with frozen fingers or when it's dark...
