FYI i talked to Bing Copeland about the Bing David Nuuhiwa Lightweight that is in that auction. It is not in original condition. It was originally done with a coral pink bottom lay up. Somewhere in it's life time it was stripped of it's glass and totally re-done with the abstract bottom lay up. Same blank but stripped and re-glassed.

This is what it say's in detail

"This board was originally coral pink on the bottom but was restored. A clear deck with high density foam sandwiched by two 1/4" redwood stringers. #8028 in pencil on deck foam. "

Lot of restored boards in that auction, nice none the less, but those are some high $$$ estimates for the board values.

I've been fortunate enough to see #38 in person. A true beauty!
