While picking up a new custom from Marc Andreini, He let me fondle a balsa board he had just made. It was stunning to say the least! He was dyeing to ride it but, said it's going in a show soon and can't chance damaging it.

If I had the funds for a balsa... Id give Marc a call

And... what Benny said in his last paragraph is dead on!

Looking forward to see what you end up with

    This one:

heck, if I could, I wood.

Man, you got the Summer flatness buy-a-board-or-three fever for sure...

    You are not alone. :?

Roach, what did you do with your BB pintail you had at the Fla Gathering a couple years back when Bill was there? If you still have it, PM me so none o' these other feverish fuckers can have a go at it!

Custom brand new I would think $3,500ish from someone proficient.

Obviously less for a non-vintage used one.

I think ( hope, please Zeus make it be ) Chris has decided to go back to school and become a PA which makes me feel like I need to get myself something pretty since I will have to hold off for the 2 years I will be paying for school.

Balsa boards are a total trip and a ton of fun. I have a solid pig and a chambered noserider. I agree with Warrior, get it chambered if you can. It took me a bit to get used to surfing them. You have to start every move a second earlier than on a foam board. The glide and momentum is awesome. Hope you can pull it.
