observing a pro in HI during a shared south shore session, asked why he was wearing his leash on his forward, not trailing foot...'less tangles, less trailing drag''

flash forward 7 years, coming back from hip replacement, put the leash on the forward foot to avoid strain on the trailing/repaired hip. Zero problems, end of occasional rear foot tangle, less dragging. Buddy tried it, now he's a fan as well.

just an FYI, your results may vary

Doesn't your back foot end up standing on the leash?

nope...and rarely get the common leash tangle the back foot can experience

won't work, however, for those who are highly sensitive to not looking cool

Tried the leash on the front foot. I am a regular foot.
    Works great so far!
